PSIberWorks is “cloud” based technology and Pay Solutions have been using this suite we started our company nine years ago. So this brand new technology that everyone is talking about – we have been using for nine years. It has been tried and tested and around for many years.
The PSIber Team pioneered the concept of “do it yourself”, “pay as you go” web based Payroll and HR technologies in South Africa and are still the leading supplier of these services.
The PSIberTeam also pioneered the concept of online Tax Returns in South Africa in 2001 – today it is known as the SARS e-filing Service – then known as MyTax.
We at Pay Solutions process our entire monthly, fortnightly & weekly payroll using the PSIberWorks Payroll module. We are able to access the payroll anywhere – even do the SARS submissions while on holiday in the UK!!
We can process the payroll, create many reports, customised to our clients’ needs, e-mail payslips to employees or print hard copies for staff. We can issue our clients with an electronic interface to their General Ledger (simply furnish us with the file lay-out and we can extract the information in the format required).
Our Payroll is date driven, so we can pull reports from previous years and for as many years back as the payroll goes. For instance, many of our payrolls go back to when we first started our company and we can pull reports to that time. Many other payrolls do not have that facility and have to restore a backup to get that information. Because it is date driven, the system can automatically pro-rate salaries for a new engagement that starts during the month or a termination that happens mid-month. No need to do manual calculations – the system does it all.
We produce a monthly UIF file that is sent to the Department of Labour to report on changes for the month. STATS South Africa reports are no problem at all, simply enter the months you require to report on and – they report is done!!
August Submissions to SARS and the February Tax Year end are easily managed on our payroll and the deadlines are always met.
We are able to offer our clients an employee self-service option whereby they can apply for leave, check leave balances, apply for loans – the application is sent their manager – this can be accepted or rejected and the system will update the leave module immediately and send the employee confirmation of the outcome.
We have a handy tax structuring tool which has all the latest tax rules built into it, we can give our clients access to this and they can assist their employees to structure their packages. On the other hand, they can simply contact us and we will do the necessary calculations for them.
We have an HR Admin option which allows us to capture Training Details, Disciplinary information, staff movements within the company and allows one to report on many HR functions including the Work Skills Plan and the Employment Equity Reports.
There is also and HR Management tool which helps companies manage their organograms, Job descriptions, Training Management and Performance Management requirements.
